Servicing Due to the complexity of the design and technology of the modern vehicle, manufacturers recommend that Vehicle Service Schedules are strictly adhered to in order to prevent serious component damage and also to conform to current Emission Legislation. We at Krypton Tune also recommend that our customers consider the reason for these recommendations and the implications of ignoring sound advice. If we can accept that Millions of Pounds have been invested in modern technology and advancement in vehicle designs and performance, it stands to reason that the foregoing advice should be a major factor in decision making, when it comes to the Servicing and Maintenance of any vehicle. At Krypton Tune we are committed to complying with the Manufacturers and Government recommended procedures for vehicles which regularly requires the use of dedicated Service/Test & Diagnostic Equipment and also up to date Service/Repair information, without which a vehicle cannot be properly serviced and maintained. It is widely accepted within the Motor Trade, that it is highly unlikely that 'Home Mechanics', when carrying out 'ad hoc' repairs or servicing, would be privy to this continually updated Technology or Information and would therefore not be in a position to comply with Legislation or Manufacturers Recommendations, this in turn may cause a vehicle to become unreliable or more expensive to maintain and repair in the long term. To ensure that your vehicle is being properly maintained, it is paramount that you, 'The Customer', ensure that any selected repairer, should meet at least the minimum standards, laid down by the Manufacturers and Government Departments. As Krypton Tune is a Member of both The Institute of the Motor Industry and The Scottish Motor Trade Association, you can be assured that your interests are uppermost in the thinking of our Technicians and members of staff and that we are in compliance with all Legislation. |
