The Company was formed in 1971 by John (Ian) Paterson, originally as a Transport Company in Scotland's capital City of Edinburgh, under the name of 'Paterson Hire'.   Due to the rapid development of the Transport Company, it became necessary to expand into a full blown Garage Service Centre that included a Body-shop and Car Sales facility.   That expansion  further developed into the Krypton Tune of today, as we are now known.

Having moved to Livingston, West Lothian in 1980 and ultimately now currently trading from premises in Blackburn, West Lothian since 1999, after being allocated the 'Tyresave UK'  Franchise for Postcode areas EH47/54, we have further developed into one of West Lothian's Premier Diagnostic Tuning Centre's, catering for the Public as well as Company/Fleet and Trade organisation's.   The Company Founder, John (Ian) Paterson, CAE, MIMI is currently still at the helm of the business, ably supported by his wife Margaret and the 'new kid on the block' - Steven Paterson, CAE, AMIMI.   As you can see, this is a family business and we appreciate and value the custom of all our customers equally.
